Are tattoos now on the hands neck and face considered socially acceptable?

Perhaps tattoos are accepted in fringe groups and sub-groups of unstable individuals, but no tattoos are accepted in mainstream society. Tattoos are negatively viewed throughout society, no matter what decadent Hollywood movies and music industry tells you. A hands, neck, or face tattoo would hurt you for the rest of your life. No tattoos are good, but especially visible tattoos. No good job will hire you with a visible tattoo, unless the job is a physical laborer, tradesman, bartender, waitress, athlete, and some technical Hollywood jobs like camera grips, etc. But for any professional job, or even a clerical office job, a visible tattoo is a kiss of death. You won't even make it in the door. No client wants a tattooed person doing "professional" work for them, that is just the way it is, they would not trust that someone tattooed like a druggie or loser flake is capable of doing careful professional work. Also, professionals and corporations will not tolerate support staff who are tattooed, unless they work in the warehouse or the loading dock. So if that is where you want to work, then go ahead but you would be crazy really to do so. Like I said, tattoos are negatively viewed throughout society, no matter what Hollywood tells you, and despite what these tattoo enablers on Yahoo Answers yammer to encourage you. For some sick reason, they want to destroy rather than help and nurture. No one who cares for people will encourage someone to get a tattoo. If you want to sabotage yourself for the rest of your life, get a visible tattoo.
