Are there any cheaper alternatives to a Chi hair iron?

I started off with a Conair hair iron when I was younger, and that one has worked ok for me up until it broke a couple years after. The next one I purchased was a Remington Wet to Dry hair iron, and that one is TERRIBLE. It fries my hair leaving it brittle with split ends everywhere and it doesn't even really get my hair straight. Well anyways, I've been wanting to get a Chi because I've tried them out and they work fantastic, (got my hair straight in about five minutes) but I want to know if there's something else that is cheaper, but works just as well. You see, I have thin delicate hair and I want something that will actually work without harming my hair. Thank you, all!
